I know that Front-line will take care of fleas and mosquitos, but will it take care of the bights he allready has? Or do I need another product for current itching problems? He is really scratching his rump a dump. Any ideas? He is a 12 year old Beagle. And if you ask me… Extremely Handsome
Wooww, nice product! I want to share this product!

LOL Grew up with Beagles. Make sure to give him a bath and get rid of the fleas he has first.
Use a skin soothing shampoo like something with oatmeal in it. Ask your vet.
Then wait a day or so and apply the front line. Benedryle (sp) will keep swelling down, Call your vet for dosage. It will take a few wekks for the dog to stop chewing.
Good luck. Beagles will eat anything including their own rumps.
My dog always had a scratchy butt. I dont know if it was skin problems or the fleas but it looked pretty bad. His hair was really thin/balding in that area. Try a medicated itch relief shampoo. Check with a pet store employee or the front desk at your vet for suggestions.
some fleas and ticks are becoming immune to otc frontline so that’s the only reason it might not work on him…is the skin infected? then you should gently wash it with antibacterial soup 2x a day and try to apply neosporin (some dogs like to lick this off though)
you could add a little flaxseed oil or other omega3 oil source to his food to help soothe his skin too.
remember to wash all the bedding and where ever else your dog has been on or the flea eggs/fleas might transmit onto you or your family
