has anyone out there found a natural solution that works for repelling fleas from thier dog or cat? I have heard that garlic and brewers yeast are natural repellents. Also, there are many different natural essential oil sprays that contain oils such as citronella, eucalyptus etc… is there anyone that has found a natural product that works, as I am searching for one. Thanks!

Well beer and f ag smoke doesn’t work because I’m positively hopping with them.
If you have a flea problem, I wouldn’t mess around with experimenting with natural solutions. Pick up some Frontline – it works great!!! Fleas can get out of control FAST!
Eucalyptus and hot water work very well as does the special organic soaps like Dr. Bronner’s peppermint soap. Try those two, they worked wonders on my dog.
Boric acid is supposed to be good.

Garlic helps, but you have to get enough in their blood. The best way is to eliminate the flea’s from the dogs living area.

No there isn’t any that is going to completely solve your flea problem. Get some frontline or advantix. They are in no way harmful to your pet even if ingested and will repel the fleas up to a month. If you decide to try it or have tried it and still see a flea or two its completely normal. The fleas have to get on your pet before they can die but they should be smaller and only a very few should be seen. Consider treating your yard also if your dog goes outside alot with some Over and Out ant killer. It has the same active ingredient as frontline. It can be bought at home depot.
Why mess around with ‘natural’ products that are in no way as effective?
Get some Frontline or Stronghold from your vet. You could end up spending loads on other stuff when this will fix it right away. Don’t let it be a question of money because you get what you pay for! And a note – petshop products don’t work, they’re a waste of money.
