please help me get these fleas off this new baby cat i just recently got from school. someone found them under their house and mine has so many fleas. i need help asap. thanks!

go to petco- and by flea shampoo- and then get hima flea coaller
You need a flea comb. Since you can’t use any chemicals on the kitten, you have to comb them out and squish them. It is tedious and a bit gross but it’s what you gotta do.
Go to any vets office and tell them what you have said. There is flea drops that are okay for kittens. They may recommend a gentle bath then the flea drops, get all the flea dirt off.
Go to the vet and get some advantage. depending on the kittens size and age this is the safest route. A flea bath is alright as long as you get every bit of the shampoo off.
Whatever you do, do not put a flea collar on a kitten. The collars are toxic to fleas and can be toxic to young animals.
“ADVANTAGE” is the best produit. My cat jept getting fleas even after the baths and flea color. The only thing that got and kept them away was “advantage”. This produit comes in a little white tube that you simple but on the back of your pet’s neck every ocuple months.
Get a flea comb and dawn dish soap. Use just a tiny bit but it is what my vet recommended since flea shampoo can’t be used on kittens under i think 8 weeks or so. It worked great on our kitty we found but since she’s older we use adam’s flea and tick shampoo and collars and it’s by far the best for older animals.
They cannot have a flea collar yet if they are just babies.Mint spirits do the job but spotty. There might me a product on the market for safe flea removal for kittens, it has been so long since our cats had fleas, or you can move to the desert.
We had a new kitten with fleas. The vet gave me a pill to give to him that killed the fleas within 24 hours. Also, he gave us advantix or something similar to that for long term flea/tick control. It also helps with worms. You will have to “flea bomb” your house and wash the clothing/bedding that the kitten lays on to get rid of all the fleas and their eggs.
wash her gently/ w/ warm water and gentle soap, get her soaked, the fleas hate water, they drown, but the kitten has to be soaked. then you can wrap her in a towel for a while. remember, when you turn her back outside more will get on board, dont make a habit out of washing her, she wont like it, but right now she needs it. then get you some type of safe kitten spray from wal mart or sumpn. less than 5 bucks. then shell be fine.

That happened to us, use baby shampoo and soap up the kitten with water and shampoo. Have a pie plate or low dish filled with isopropal alcohol or vodka near by and pick out the fleas with a comb or tweezers and drop the fleas in the alcohol so they get numbed and don’t escape. this is easier with a friend helping. Don’t let the kitten get too cold or in a breeze while its wet. Rinse well and remember to get the fleas first that will try to run into the ears. You can put Vaseline in the ears (put it in the ears before you soap up). and that will catch the fleas when they try to run in. RINSE WELL. We had a whole batch of kittens to do. You will have to stay on top of it.
