We have a lab that stays outside. She have tried Flea Spray , Frontline, spraying around the house, and giving her a bath but she still has so many fleas. So what is the best stuff for outdoor dogs?

My Vet Says Always Use Frontline Or Stronghold Best You Can Get
You need to consider a systemic flea remedy if your infestation is that bad. Consider Program. here’s a link:

When I lived in TX the topical treatments weren’t enough. Program solved the problem.
If you don’t want to go this route, you will need to have your entire yard treated a few times to eliminate the problems, then something like frontline or biospot will work for you.
You know, this is gonna sound weird but if you bath your dog in vinegar, not only does this kill all fleas and ticks, but it keeps your dog’s fur really shiny!

i don’t know what to do, but he should had started frontline from the beginning.
I’m not a huge fan of the chemical flea and tick products. But I do understand the need for them, especially in places where there is an abundance of these pests. I like to search for herbal remedies for most things I can help prevent. I found a little article I bookmarked that lists a few natural alternatives to preventing fleas and ticks. http://www.gomestic.com/Pets/Natural-Flea-and-Tick-Repellent-for-Dogs.694111 I’ve been following this since last summer and it’s been working great. Keep in mind we do go out often to parks and hiking trails. Even if it isn’t 100% effective, the general health of my dog has improved.
